Cancer Survivors carry the Banner of Hope as they take the first lap in the Relay for Life at Masich Place Stadium
Prince George, B.C.- Masich Place stadium is tent city for the weekend as the 17th annual Relay for Life is underway.

Teams from businesses, organizations, friends, families, have gathered together for a 24 hour walk event around the track all in the name of raising funds for Cancer research.
The theme this year is Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back. To that end, the walk started with a victory lap of cancer survivors, some who are just weeks past their treatment, others, nearly three decades.

This evening, there will be a ceremony of light to remember those who lost their battle with the disease, and the fight back part is all about raising money so that one day, there will be a cure.
