Search Continues for Missing P.G. Woman

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP and Search and rescue continue to search the Tabor Mountain area for a 45 year old Prince George woman.
Police say they received a 9-1-1 call around 11:00 last night but the caller hung up. Dispatch tried to re-establish contact, but was unable to get a good connection. Through GPS they were able to establish that the call had come from the Tabor Mountain area.
Search and Rescue arrived on scene around 1:40 this morning and worked all night on foot combing the area with no results. At first light this morning, a plane was brought in.
Around 9:00 this morning, RCMP received information that the woman was safe in a Prince George home, Police are checking out that information and have not yet confirmed that information. Meantime, search and rescue continue their efforts at Tabor mountain.
It is known the Tabor Mtn area was to be the site of a wake for a man who died in a single vehicle crash a week ago.
