The Edmonton Eskimos have won the Grey Cup 38 to 35.

They defeated the Montreal Alouettes in double overtime with a field goal to win the game after the game had been tied in regulation time.

The game had been a defensive struggle heading into overtime and then the offence took over with both teams scoring a touch down in the first overtime.

Edmonton got the ball first in the second overtime and scored a field goal.

Montreal failed to repeat.

Edmonton earned a berth to the Grey Cup after defeating The BC lions, at BC Place.
