Another 2 Millions wasted on assisting Mr former premier for his legal fees to explain his bribery and how he even got away from paying 50% of the taxes. Well Done Brian. So far we have wasted 10 Millions of tax payers money and the crook is free and setting another bad example for other politicians to follow. Next time, we may hand in the money to him and his lawyer friends and save some of tax payer's money for bankrupt companies.
If this has happened in another democratic country and not in a banana republic, he was long ago criminaly charged for fraud/ bribery. Fingerprinted and photographed as a crook and was behind bars like the other crook, Conrad Black in the US.
This country's justice system has turned into a farce. Only in Crookville, those like Conrad Black can be recepients of its highest orders - order of Canada - and those like Mulroney and Campbell its premiers?

According to the CBC the cost of this Oliphant inquiry topped $14 million a few days ago.
Depending on how much longer it will go on it may be closer to $20 million in total.
And we still haven't found out exactly what happened.

Giving millions to Mulroney and then asking for normal citizens to pay extra fees for courts in BC gives a terrible picture of the system in Canada and especially in BC. Read "Do B.C.'s court costs impede justice?" to see how rotten the system has got in BC:
