Flood Fixes Up for Discussion

Prince George, B.C. – City Council for the City of Prince George will receive the final report on flood risk and mitigation this evening. The report is expected to outline mitigation works and the costs associated with those projects.
Also on the agenda this evening, a hearing for a development permit variance for a 500 sq meter addition to the Princess Auto building for retail space to be leased out.
There is a public hearing scheduled for the rezoning of a number of properties near the airport.
Council will be asked to support a pilot project to develop a community garden in the vacant lot at 7th and Victoria. Councillors will also hear the pros and cons of allowing internet access to Councillors during public meetings. That information will be followed by a motion to allow such access.
