Prince George, B.C. - The owners of the Princess Auto building on Massey Drive, have been given the green light to move forward with plans to add on to their building.  The plan is to add another 550 sq meters of space which would available for  lease to other retailers.

The development needed a variance so there wouldn't need to be as much  new landscaping and to reduce the side yard from 9 meters to 1.5 meters.

How about they fix the parking lot so the line up of Tim Hortons customers doesn't end up on Massey.

Or instead of adding to a mile long lineup, perhaps people could park their car and secure their coffee by foot. I see your point Ruez, however, one has to wonder why people think a drive through is the only option. Surely they can see the doors on the front of the building, LOL :)

You 2 are funny. LOL. And I do agree with both of you, Ruez & NMG. Personally, I wish they would just get rid of drive thru's. I never use them. I find them more of a pain than a convenience. So many times I can't get to where I'm going because the line-ups at the drive thru are blocking the entrance. I don't dare park at Roger's Video in the Hart when I want to rent a movie. I would never be able to back out of my parking spot when I'm done. The Timmy's drive thru is blocking my car and no one in the lineup will let me out. One time I had to get out of my car & go ask a guy a few cars back in the drive thru, to please not move forward so I could get out.
I like drive thrus but i dont use them when lines are long. Of course, at some tim hortons the inside service is so much slower one is better off outside. I dont think there is enough parking space provided in a lot of lots in PG. I realise how this comes about but i get tired of squeezing into small spaces in narrow alleys. You would think some designers never saw an extended cab before!
Oh! By the way : YAYYY! my toy store is getting bigger!
Your toy store is not necessarily getting bigger caran, that addition may well be for a certain furniture retailer.........
