Prince George, B.C.- RCMP say poor visibility was a contributing factor in a fatal crash of a quad on Sunday afternoon.
Constable Gary Godwin says the 46 year old Prince George man who died, was one of several ATV riders in the Isle Pierre-Reid Lake area Sunday afternoon. “There was quite a dust storm kicked up by all the vehicles” says Godwin “There were logs on the road, and the deceased’s quad ran into them.”
Godwin says the investigation is continuing and police are waiting for a full toxicology report and results from the autopsy to see if they can learn more. The deceased was wearing a helmet when his quad hit the logs.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
