Prince George, B.C.- The man who died in a quad crash Sunday afternoon was 46 year old Howard Morton of Prince George,
In releasing his name earlier this afternoon, RCMP say Morton was riding with several other ATV enthusiasts Sunday in the Isle Pierre/Reid Lake area. They were on an unsigned logging road and had kicked up a lot of dust.
Police say that because of the dust, Morton either could not, or did not, see the pile of logs that was partially locking the road, nor did he see the quad in front of him had slowed. Morton’s quad slammed into the rear end of the other quad, catapulting Morton into the log pile

I just seen a guy on a quad on the side of North Nechako road kicking up a lot of dust and wearing no helmet. SOME of these ATV riders are the reason people get hurt. Idiots with a toy!
