Prince George, B.C.- Prince George RCMP are asking for witnesses to come forward after a vehicle fire in the Blueberry Road area Thursday evening.
Police say an older model red Ford Ranger pickup was torched sometime between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The truck had been reported stolen earlier. Mounties say the fire spread to about an acre of surrounding forest and fire crews had to be called to put out the flames.
RCMP say there may have been witnesses in the area riding dirt bikes or all terrain vehicles at the time of the incident. Anyone with information should contact the Prince George RCMP or Crimestoppers.
