Overdue Travelers

Fort St. John, B.C. - RCMP in Ft.St. John are working with the Whitehorse RCMP in trying to locate a group of overdue travelers.

The travelers are the Husu family from Vancouver Island, with two adults and two young children.

The Husu's left the Charlie Lake RV Park on June 2, 2009 around 1020 hours en route to Whitehorse, Yukon via the Alaska Highway. They had advised other family members that they would be stopping along the way in Pink Mountain and Liard Hotsprings and then carrying on to Whitehorse. The Husu's were to arrive at their destination in Whitehorse on June 3, 2009 at around noon, but have yet to arrive and there has been no subsequent contact with them.

The Husu's are traveling in a white 2001 Ford F350 pickup with British Columbia plate 6972LP with a Citation camper. There are two children bikes on the back of the camper.

The Fort St. John RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in providing information if they have seen or know the current whereabouts of these travelers and vehicle. If you have any information, please contact the Fort St. John RCMP Detachment at 250-787-8140.
