The latest radio ratings are  out for the Prince George  area.  The ratings show  The Wolf (CJCI) remains number one overall, but it is tied for first place with CBC during the  morning period  with  a 22% share of the  available audience.  the river and the Drive both  showed gains,  mostly at the expense of  94X.

The ratings are conducted by the Bureau of Broadcast Management (BBM) to those radio stations which  subscribe to the service.    The ratings are a tool used by  radio stations to help secure advertising dollars.

The morning  audience share is  considered prime time for radio so having a strong morning audience  is also important.

CFIS, CFUR, cable and satellite radio do not subscribe to the BBM.

looks like CFis made significant gains too
Hillbilly town - what can ya say?
CIRX needs to can all their on-air "talent" & start over.
I'd rather puncture my eardrums with a Q-tip than listen to the Wolf.
I won't listen to anything that has commercials.

LOL, well said RUEZ. It amazes me that a city our size has such lame radio. I don't find any of the morning shows entertaining and the music pretty much sucks on all of them. When I listen to the radio, it's either Ben's program or CBC.

The Wolf, The River, The Drive and 94X would all be great stations if they were the only game in town in a city of 10,000 people, LOL.
Maybe 94X is losing out because all the young people left to find jobs.
IMO 94X is what I call "head banging music". But hey. That's just me.
