The Flood Watch is maintained for the Nass River, Skeena River, Kitsumkalum River; Stikine River and Liard River.

Skeena River (at Usk): The water level is continuing to rise, at a rate of 3.5 cm/hr over the past 24 hrs. The current discharge is 5400 cubic metres per second (m3/s) (below a 5-year return period). Note: The Water Survey of Canada reset the station on Friday afternoon. The discharge is now 320 m3/s lower following the reset. The Skeena River at Glen Vowell (above the Kispiox confluence) is continuing to rise (50 cm in past 24 hrs). The Skeena River above Babine Lake, however, appears to have plateaued for the past 8 hrs, suggesting snow in the upper basin may be depleted. If so, this will result in a lower peak water level on the Skeena at Terrace than anticipated.

Nass River (at Shumal): Continuing to rise slowly. The water level has increased 25 cm in the past 24 hours. Its current discharge is 3800 m3/s (below a 5-year return period).

Stikine River (at Telegraph Creek): Continuing to rise slowly. The water level has increased 40 cm in the past 24 hrs. Its current discharge is 2700 m3/s

Liard River: The Liard River at Upper Crossing and Lower Crossing both continue to rise steadily, at 1-2 cm/hr. The current discharge for the Liard River at Lower Crossing is 5900 m3/s, approaching a 5-year return period

The High Streamflow Advisory is maintained for the Bulkley River, Kispiox River and Telkwa River, and other rivers and streams in the North-West Bulkley River (at Quick): Continuing to rise slowly. The water level has increased 14 cm in the past 24 hrs. Its current discharge is 555 m3/s (a 2-year return period).

Kispiox River: Continuing to rise slowly (very slowly). Its current discharge is 230 m3/s (approaching a 2-year return period)

Telkwa River: Continuing to rise slowly. Its current discharge is 90 m3/s (a 2-year return period)

Conditions will be updated by 3PM today.
