Premier to Name Cabinet On Wednesday

Prince George, B.C.- Premier Gordon Campbell will make public his Cabinet selections on Wednesday.

The 49 elected members for the Liberals and 35 New Democrats were sworn in today, the lone independent will be sworn in tomorrow.

For 27 of the MLA’s this is their first time in provincial politics.

The Premier will recall the legislature on August 25^th and will deliver a new budget on September 1^st.

Does this really matter ? They all just say whatever they are told to say. Not an independent thought between any of them and no representation of what is actually of concern to the constituents.

How easy and utterly safe it is to ridicule and scorn those who were duly elected in a democracy, like ours: nobody breaks down your front door at 3:00 AM to take you away in handcuffs and never to be seen again.
