Quesnel- Sampling irregularity led to boil water advisory between April 25th and 30th this year in Quesnel.
City council has received a report that showed that the sample handed them by a member of the public, suggesting that the water contained E.coli was wrong.
The city says they had no alternative but to issue the boil advisory after the sample tested positive. Further samples taken by the city staff and the Northern health showed no such case.
The staffs have been reminded not to take samples from the general public.
