Oliver Man Remanded To PG To Face Changes In Boys Death

Penticton- 50 year old Lloyd Cook has been charged with four counts in connection with the death of 13 year old Adam Williams,  who died in January of 2000.

Cook is charged with manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death, forcible confinement, and committing an indignity to human remains.

He has been remanded until June 24th in Prince George to face the charges. Police began an investigation in 2004 after learning that the young boy was missing. Cook is a resident of Oliver.

I find this entire story to be quite odd. The boy died in 2000 yet no one noticed his absence for four years? I can't wrap my head around this; hopefully it all becomes clearer at some point.

Regardless, RIP Adam; it just ain't fair to be taken at such a young age.
