Why even bother if the REAL truth will be held back. The public will never know the real truth and thats what the RCMP wanted right from the start. The money spent on this enquiry is a total waste of money and time, all we get is a sugar coated report.
to all those people who are blaming only the RCMP for the man's death read the facts again and put the blame where it belongs. If the airline and or airport security had done their job the RCMP would never have been called out to deal with this case. Granted that the officers that responded did over react the blame is not theirs alone. The people at the airport ,in my opionion, are more to blame than the RCMP.
Everyone involved in this fiasco failed miserably, but they were all right on time to pick up their paycheques anyway.
RCMP activities aside...
In my opinion they are trying to make Robert Dziekanski into a saint. And from what I hear he is anything but that. He was trouble in Poland and he was trouble here, and from what I remember he had a criminal record longer than you could read in one sitting.

And in no way am I saying the RCMP did the right thing,,,,or the wrong

I know that if I was going into a country that I didn't speak the language I would put together a cheat sheet of at least the basics.....
I wouldn't be tearing the waiting area at the airport apart...or creating a scene..
Had Robert Dziekanski tried that in Poland I have no doubt the end result would be pretty much the same, the method may have been different.

NO he didn't deserve to die....

Yes police may be over zealous with the use of the tazer, but maybe what they, the police forces, were told by the manufacturer indicated the device was safe, and indeed maybe not as promoted.

But if I had to make a choice between the tazer and getting shot..I think the choice is pretty simple....
