Cougars Exhibition Sched Set

Prince George, BC The Prince George Cougars will play five exhibition games to tune up for their Western Hockey League regular season opener on Friday, September 18 against the Spokane Chiefs.

Cougars training camp will get underway August 28 at CN Centre. The Cougars will hit the road for their first tune-up on Friday, September 4, opening a pre-season tournament against the Seattle Thunderbirds at Comcast Arena in Everett, Washington. The Cougars will play two more games in Everett, September 5 against the Portland Winterhawks, followed by a date with the Tri-City Americans September 6. All Cougar games in Everett will begin at 11:30am.

The Cougars will wrap up the exhibition schedule with a home-and-home series with the Kamloops Blazers. The teams will meet in Kamloops on Friday, September 11 and collide again for the Cougars only home game of the pre-season on Saturday, September 12 at CN Centre, with puck drop at 7:00pm.

The Prince George Cougars 16th Western Hockey League regular season will get underway the following weekend, squaring off with the Spokane Chiefs on Friday, September 18 at CN Centre, starting at 7:00pm.
