Lloyd Remanded To Prince George To Face Charges

Prince George- 50 year old Lloyd Cook of Oliver has been remanded in custody, and will  be transferred to Prince George to appear in court here.

The  50 year old is facing charges of manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death, forcible confinement and committing an indignity to human remains in the death of 13 year old Adam Williams.

Cook was remanded before Justice of the Peace Donna Bigras in Prince George today after he appeared via video conference from Kamloops.

Cook will be transferred to Prince George from Kamloops. Cook does not, as yet, have legal counsel, he was arrested in Oliver one week ago

The remains of 13 year old Adam Williams were found in a wooded area off North Nechako Road. The teen had  died in January of 2000 however, his death was not reported to police  until 2004.
