Prince George, B.C.- A 17 year old female is in hospital recovering from stab wounds after being attacked early this morning.

RCMP say they received a call about a disturbance in the 2900 block of Andres Road around 3:00 this morning.

When they arrived on scene they found a 17 year old female with severe, but not life threatening, stab wounds to her body. She was taken to Prince George Regional Hospital where she is being treated.

Police have a 21 year old in custody. The Prince George Serious crimes Unit is investigating.
