Careless Smoking Blamed for Fire

Prince George, B.C.- Prince George Fire Rescue investigators have completed their examination of a house fire at 1616 8th Ave that occurred on Sunday.

 The cause was determined to be careless use of smoking materials.

 This fire originated in a couch in the living room.

The house may not have been vacant in the normal sense of the word. Perhaps what was meant was that no one was home.
