Cougars Pick Vlach

Prince George, B.C.- The Prince George Cougars have selected 17-year old forward Jaroslav Vlach in Tuesday’s CHL Import Draft.

The Cougars picked Vlach with the 11th overall selection. Vlach stands 6’3” and weighs 205 pounds. During the 2008-09 season, the Czech product split time between the HC Liberec White Tigers Midget and Junior programs, collecting 43 points in 24 games as a midget and 7 points in 13 games at the junior level. 


Vlach has represented the Czech Republic with the U-16 and U-17 National teams. Last year, he scored one goal and six points in 9 international games.
