Prince George, B.C. - Prince George RCMP have released more information about a manhunt in the Hart Tuesday.
Police say it all started at 8 a.m. when a commercial vehicle inspector tried to stop a white Ford F550 pulling a trailer with a red tractor. The vehicle's driver refused to stop and continued to head south on Foothills Boulevard before turning east onto Austin Road. The truck then veered off onto a gravel road and two male occupants took off on foot.
RCMP have confirmed that the vehicle, trailer, and tractor were stolen from Beaverlodge, Alberta.
The two suspects in the case are described as caucasian males between the ages of 20 and 30. The first suspect is approximately six feet tall, weighs about 190 pounds, and has a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a brown hoodie.
The second male is described as 5'7" to 5'9" , 170 pounds with dark hair and possible facial hair. Police say the man was wearing a blue and white ball cap.
The suspects were seen by a city bus driver along Dagg road at about 9:35 a.m. and once again shortly before 11:00 a.m. near Croft Crescent and Cook Road.
RCMP say police patrols and a dog track were not able to locate the suspects. Police are asking anyone with information to contact police or Crimestoppers.
