Bail Hearing Adjourned for Cook

Prince George, B.C. - There was a very brief court appearance this morning for the man charged in the death of 13 year old Adam Williams nine years ago in Prince George.
The lawyer for 50 year old Lloyd William Cook appeared on his client's behalf. The bail hearing for the Oliver resident was adjourned until later this month.
Cook is charged with is charged with manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death, forcible confinement and committing an indignity to human remains. He remains in custody.
The charges were laid in mid June but date back to January of 2000 when 13 year old Adam died in Prince George. Cook was living with Adam’s mother and brother at the time.
Adam’s death was not reported to authorities until 2004.
Cook is scheduled to be back in court July 27th.
