Prince George, B.C. - Mr. P.G. is proving to be a very popular stamp.  Canada post says sales of its "Roadside Attraction" series stamps featuring the Prince George icon have been brisk.

Just a day after the stamp series went on sale, the Canada Post outlet on 5th Avenue in Prince George sold out.  Lillian Au with Canada Post says the store received another shipment Wednesday morning.

"We're really pleased that our 'Roadside Attraction' stamps have been so popular and we have re-ordered more stamps.  People can also purchase these stamps from out website or by calling our 1-800 number"

Along with Mr. P.G., the other feature attractions on a stamp are the Vegreville, Alberta Pysanka (Ukrainian Easter Egg) , the Hay River, North West Territories Inukshuk, and the signpost forest in Watson Lake, Yukon.

Au says Canada Post has purchased four million of the stamps, so she says there are plenty to go around.  There are also other products available featuring the attractions.

So sad. So very, very sad.
Sad for who?
I'm stumped about the sad thing.
One has to buy all four stamps. I think that people are buying the set because they all love Ukrainian Easter Eggs.
