Treasure Makes it to Next Round

Sudtirol, Italy - Alyx Treasure of PG has advanced to the 2nd and final round of the women's high jump on Friday at the 6th IAAF World Youth (age 15-19) Track and Field Championships in Italy. 
 
The 17-year-old Treasure is among 14 qualifiers, and the only Canadian,  following a leap of 1.77 metres. Her personal best is 1.82. A total of 34 high jumpers were entered. 
   
Treasure, a DP Todd student, is one of 45 athletes on Team Canada.
