CSTC Election Today

Prince George, B.C. - The Carrier Sekani Tribal Council is holding an election for Tribal Chief and Vice Tribal Chief today.

Six people are running for the position of Tribal Chief, including David Luggi, Colleen Erickson, Tamara Ketlo, Thomas Pierre, Vincent Prince, and Anne Marie Sam.

The candidates for Vice Tribal Chief are Catherine Lessard, Maureen Luggi, June Moise, Reginald Mueller, Terry Teegee, and Verne David Tom.

Anyone 18 years of age or older and a member of one of the 8 CSTC first nations is able to vote.
Voters will need to bring their status cards.

Polling stations have been set up at the Carrier Sekani Tribal Council Office in Prince George and in the 8 member communities.

Polls are open until 8 o'clock tonight.
