Yes, it's bitterly cold...

But if you take the glass is half-full approach -- or possibly half-frozen -- the Outdoor Ice Oval at the Exhibition Grounds opens today, thanks to the recent cold temperatures.

The City is advising the entrance to the Oval has been relocated this season. Skaters can now make their way onto the ice through a gate located behind the CN Centre and Kin 3 Arena.

If you do plan to go for a skate, it's best to bundle up as it's a cold one out there. In addition to the colder temperatures, Environment Canada is also calling for snow overnight and throughout the day tomorrow.
