The three wire pullers.
what are the chances of conviction?
They were caught leaving the scene after an alarm went off and the stolen goods were in their possession.
Will the charges stick or will the victim be fined for leaving desirable materials in his yard?
Will the victim be billed for the RCMP response?
I guess the time has come to use razor wire. If the RCMP can use it to protect bicycles,it should be legal for the rest of us with no liabilitys attached.
according to the pgtv news they where also caught on surveylance cameras this should be enough so the charges stick hopefully
There is a bit of credibility when someone shows up at a pawn shop with a bunch of items to sell...household items, tools and the like.
But someone tell me how this substantial trade of stolen scrapped copper wire just goes along without any real enforcement. Is it plausible that ordinary people just find copper wire laying on the road and they are just cleaning up the environment??
Is it because it is percieved that the thieves are just selling scrap and therefore it is insignificant OR does law enforcement understand that these thieves are destroying hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of perfectly good electrical equipment? AND doing it all the time.

Really ethical for scrap dealers to buy this stolen property as fast as the thieves will bring it to them.
