Vanderhoof's  Tired Iron Ranch fielded a bountiful crop of classic cars Sunday

One hundred and thirty seven vehicles from all over the "250" were in Vanderhoof Sunday for the annual Hooterville Hoot.  Once again, organizers Ken and Myrna Holden put on a great event.  With no admission, no registration fees, the Holden's have drummed up support from the entire Vanderhoof community in the form of donations of prizes, food and time to make it one of the most anticipated, and hospitable events of the classic car season!

The Co-Op parking lot was the place to be Sunday morning for a show of fabulous cars, trucks, and motorcycles from all eras.

Organizers wanted to say a special thanks to the Tired Iron Ranch which stepped in at the last minute to be the alternative site for the hot dog roast, when the regular site (the exhibition grounds) became an emergency forest fire camp!

Your next opportunity to see  some of this beautiful machinery up close and personal, will be Sunday June 19th, at the annual  Cruisin' Classics Father's Day Show and Shine in downtown Prince George!

This story deserves a heartfelt "attaboy". Why is it that small towns seem to have such fun and great events while ol Pg has not much on the go. Anyhow, good job vhoof.
