Man Arrested In Death Of Chetwynd Woman in 2008

Chetwynd BC. - A 24 year old man has been arrested and is awaiting a court appearance in Dawson Creek , charged with the murder of Annie Davis whose body was found on Jackfish Lake Rd near Chetwynd on May 8^th of 2008.

The dead woman, 46 year old Annie Lenore Davis of Chetwynd, was last seen in the community on April 16^th-2008.

Police say the arrest comes after an extensive investigation by the Major Crime Unit of E-Division.

The name of the man charged will be released after his first court appearance.
