Alward Fire Causes 50-K In Damage

Prince George BC- No one was injured in a fire in a basement room in the 600 Block of Alward St. last night.

16 firefighters from three halls responded to a report of smoke coming from the building. The occupants were awakened by smoke alarms in the building and escaped injury.

 Damage is estimated at about $50,000 dollars. The fire is being investigated.
