Prince George, B.C.- The Prince George Gnats Rugby Football Club is among a dozen sports organizations in the province to receive one funding under the 2010 Legacies Now program.
The Club will use the $2,500 dollars to promote and expand its existing Prince George Mini Rugby program targeting youth.
“Financial assistance has a direct impact on our ability to provide functional equipment and venues which properly facilitate and support the education of our young athletes,” said Troy Mackenzie, President of the Prince George Gnats Rugby Football Club. “We are excited about the opportunity to bolster youth development and support community growth through an educational and active sport.”
