Campfire Bans In Effect This Long Weekend

Danger rating map shows fire rating is  high to extreme throughout most of B.C.
Prince George, B.C.- No matter where you are heading in B.C.  this long weekend, campfires and open burning  will not be allowed.

Coastal
Northwest
Prince George
Kamloops
Southeast
Cariboo
Open Fire bans?
Campfire bans?
Forest Use restrictions?
 
Regional District of Fraser Fort George parks are also observing a campfire ban, as are all provincial parks.
The hot   conditions will continue this weekend, and threats of thunderstorms only pose more threats of lightning strike fires.
You are reminded to be extremely cautious this weekend.
