Connolly Scores in Tournament Exhibition Game

Prince George, B.C.- Canada's National Men's Summer Under-18 Team, gearing up for the Memorial of Ivan Hlinka hockey tournament, whipped Slovakia 7-1 in an exhibition game.
Brett Connolly of the Prince George Cougars scored the 4th Canadian goal early in the 2nd period as he undressed a Slovakian defender and roofed a shot past the goaltender (Juraj Simboch).
Connolly also scored in a 6-1 exhibition victory Friday over the United States.
Canada will open the tournament Tuesday against Sweden (6:30am pacific time) in the Czech Republic.
