Kluskus, BC –  Effective this morning the Evacuation Order for the Lhoosk’uz Dene Nation, also known as the Kluskus First Nation, will be rescinded. Residents will be allowed to return to their homes, providing the conditions continues to improve.

The decision was made following  consultation with the Cariboo Fire Centre.

 

Residents returning to, or travelling through the affected area should use caution as some hazards, such as dangerous trees, sink holes or hot spots, may still exist. Please be aware that fire fighters will still be working in the area.
