Prince George, B.C.- The final numbers are not in yet, but the Prince George Exhibition has tallied the gate admission sales during the five days of this year’s annual fair and they top the 42,800 mark. That’s up from last year’s total attendance of 38 thousand.
There are still some other numbers to come in but the early results are very positive.
This year the fair added an extra day and shifted the timing to a week later.

Seems to me the exhibits are getting fewer and fewer each year.
Let's do a little math with these figures.Last year the fair was 4 days and drew 38,00 people. Thats an average of 9,510 people a day. This year the fair was 5 days and drew 42,800 for an average of 8,560 a day. Put those figures side by each and they actually had an average decrease of 940 people a day. Guess I should have been a political flackman with thoughts like that.

Yes, pglady, I agree that there are fewer exhibits each year. On Sunday afternoon the doors were locked on Kin 1. What's with that. Oh well, maybe the Vanderhoof Ex will be good this weekend.
