Prince George, B.C.- There is a severe Thunderstorm watch in effect for Prince George,  Environment  Canada says  a cold front will sweep across the interior today triggering thunderstorms. The thunderstorms are expected to develop through the late morning and afternoon. Some of these thunderstorms have the potential to become severe giving heavy downpours, large hail, damaging winds and intense lightning.

The thunderstorm that rolled through the region last night and early this morning made for some incredible photos.
