Simon Fraser Twin Only Hours Away From Opening

Prince George, B.C. – The Simon Fraser Bridge Twin will be officially opened this afternoon.
Officials will cut the ribbon around 1:00 then lead a tour along the $36.3 million dollar span. Art depicting the history of explorer Simon Fraser form part of the crossing.

Good to see the bridge ready for operation, should greatly improve traffic flow on that section of road.

Congratulations to the city for providing a much better link to the BCR site, and all points south.
I'm not sure the City had anything to do with this project. It's a highway fixture and thus under the control of the Provincial Ministry of Highways.

Interesting. It took the province to do this. It will be interesting to see what this looks like.

Hopefully not too many cars will stop on the bridge to look at it.
Do people stop on bridges to look at them?
