Prince George, B.C.- The investigation by the RCMP historical homicide team continues on an acreage on Pinewood Road near Isle Pierre.
RCMP Corporal Annie Linteau says this search is not to be compared to the search conducted at the Willie Pickton farm where investigators were looking for evidence from multiple victims “We have no information  to indicate we should be looking for any more than one homicide victim” says Linteau.
Linteau has confirmed a previous owner of the property is a “person of interest” in this case. “We have spoken to this person, and this person is not a threat to the public.”
One of the previous owners of the property was Leland Vincent Switzer. He is serving time for the second degree murder of his brother Irvin. That killing took place at Switzer’s parents place just two days after Nicole Hoar,  a 25 year old tree planter from Red Deer,   went missing.
Nicole’s father has told Opinion 250  he has been contacted by the  RCMP who advised him they believe they have  found the location of Nicole’s remains.   The family has no plans at this time to come to the Prince George  “We will just sit tight, wait and see” said Jack Hoar.
At this point the search of the property has not revealed any clues. Corporal Linteau says  the officers have been conducting a number of interviews in the area.
The current owners of the property are not involved in this case, and are staying in a local   hotel while officers   examine the property.

Yup. I knew Leyland Switzer. He was adamant that everyone called him 'Chug'. A very weird, strange and unbalanced person.
