Prince George, B.C. - While   we are into the harvest season and sales of mason jars are up as people look to can the best of the crop, police were surprised to see the art of “canning”   has crossed over to marihuana.
Around 1:30 yesterday afternoon, offices noticed a vehicle that piqued their interest. They ran a computer check of the licence plate and it was noted the vehicle was subject to possible enforcement action by ICBC.
The officers stopped the vehicle on highway 16 west near Ferry Avenue. The driver produced false identification and was subsequently arrested.    The vehicle was searched and officers found two cardboard boxes with a dozen quart sized canning jars full of marihuana buds.
Two males, (not from Prince George) were arrested and may be charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Finally, a use for these jars besides holding my whiskey drink!
Maybe next time they can use our upcoming stinky air buckets to transport their dope and the cops will just nod and send them on their way. Could happen.
Good idea canning the stuff. Dogs probably sniff right past it. Hmmmmm
