I don't think they should be classed as 'victims'. More like 'participants'.
Didn't they take guns away?
Yeah, hammmy, they made it tougher on law abiding gun owners. Remember the old saying; "when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" How much you want to bet the 'victim' had guns too?
Too bad none of the scumbags involved will ever be properly punished, except by those of the same ilk.
metalman.
Well it looks like one comment has been dropped wonder what it was all about. Too close to the truth?
Yes supertech I agree, they are NOT victims. We are all the victims of their choices.

Here's my take on it.

You live that way, you die that way. In the meantime innocent people such as us are always at risk for their senseless actions.

Hope they're happy with the decisions they've made in their lives.
Doesnt it strike anyone as strange that with all this shooting and killing going on in Prince George we never get a comment from our Mayor or Councillors.

Are they living in another world. What is the Mayors position on shooting people in this City. In most Citys the Mayor would stand up and make a statement and put some pressure on the local Police to solve some of these problems.

The RCMP in Prince George answer to the Mayor and Council. Its time we put the pressure on to stop this shooting, and do something about the drugs.

Our elected officials have no right to hide behind a veil of silence.

Statements by Police that the Victims are **Known to us** mean absolutely nothing. I suppose this is code for **its gang and drug related**

We need the Police and Bylaw enforcement officers to start to enforce every law on the books in this town to make it somewhat more difficult for these people to operate here.

Its time for those people we elect and hire to protect society, to get off their collective asses and start to earn their money.

Lets arrest and jail some criminals, rather that run around the City boasting about a stupid trail system through the woods, or some other assine project, while criminals try and sell drugs to our children.

Weve had enough of the stupid ribbon cutting projets, or shovels in the ground projects, biking to work projects etc; These are all nice in moderation, however no one in their right mind would leave a bike downtown because it would be stolen and sold with minutes, so would your car.

What about the lawyer that was beaten recently. We have no comment from him, very little comment from the Police, and once again no comment from the Mayor and Councillors.

This City is crime ridden and its up to the Mayor and Council to get it cleaned up.
Great post Palopu.
Do any other posters out there know how other cities who have had this problem managed to get cleaned up?
Gus?

When I have to go downtown, and I mean have to not want to, I am constantly looking over my shoulder.
Even in the middle of the week during the day it is as quiet as a graveyard except in this case the dead are walking around- lol.
