A very sad day for the province when the government is so desperate for cash that it has to use gambling to increase general revenue!
We do NOT need this...it is wrong, and I don't care how much money goes out of the country to casino's in the U.S.or wherever!
Campbell should hang his self-serving head in shame!
He knows who the bulk of the gamblers are and obviously,he doesn't care!

The simple truth is that this government has given away billions of dollars a year in tax breaks for corporations, the only ones left to fleece to fill the voids left are the people. That is why 1.5 billion dollars are going into the hands of corporations and the money given replaced with taxation to the public called the HST. We continue to be treated like sheep because we continue to demand we are treated this way during election times. We simply get what we ask for.

Those who vote the same old are the ones who get what they ask for. If you want the same system, keep voting for the same two parties and you will have all the socialism you can stomach. There are a lot of us who DIDN't get what we asked for!

Yes and now our Province is being handed over to the Federal Government for a mere 1.6 billion dollars. Hope Campbells children and grandchildren love the new BC that their pompus arse dad created.
