Cougars Look To Chop Down Giants

The Prince George Cougars are in Vancouver to face the Giants for the first game of three in as many nights for the 1-1 Cougars.  This is the Cats first road trip of the season as they head to Chilliwack Saturday and Portland on Sunday.  The Cougars split the opening weekend against Spokane and won their last game 2-1 in overtime, on a winning goal by 20-year old forward Alex Rodgers.  Rodgers leads the Cougars in scoring after the first two games with two goals and four points.  Rodgers will also be facing his fomer team for the first time.  Rodgers played 33 regular season games for the Giants last season and helped them to a berth in the Western Conference final.  Brett Connolly led the Cougars in scoring against Vancouver last season with two goals and five points in six games.
