I do like the fact that the prizes are cash.

Often lotto’s that give away houses, vehicles, campers etc turn people off because they do not want, or at least not excited about the prizes.

Those people who can afford to drop money on hundred dollar tickets, have the resources to own a home, vehicles, and campers if that is what is important to them.

Great choice Spirit of the North.
This is a win-win lottery too. If you don't win a prize you know its going to a good cause. Not certain if that happens with Lotto 649 ;)
I agree, unlike the 649 et al, your chance of winning one or more of 75 prizes is realistic, with only 7,777 tickets available. Not only that, we can assume that the proceeds will be put to good use.
metalman.
I seem to remember that they used to do this years ago. I understand it was stopped becuase they did not sell enough tickets one year, although they covered their costs. The provincial agency that controls such activities said the profits were not high enough, so they didn't offer it the next year. I thought that was a pity. I always used to buy a ticket, and I know some people used to pool their money and buy tickets together as well.
