Prince George B.C.- Two extreme fighters from Prince George are in jail, awaiting a bail hearing in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.

Reports say 32 year old Garry Christopher Peak, and 27 year old James Christopher Hanson appeared in Dartmouth provincial court late yesterday charged with aggravated sexual assault and forcible confinement. The two are being held in custody until a bail hearing which is set for Wednesday in Halifax.

The two fighters were in Nova Scotia for an Extreme Cage Combat event  in which Peak was billed for the main event. Hanson was not on the fight card.

According to police, the two men went to a bar following the fight event  and met two women. All four returned to the fighters’ hotel room.

One of the women decided she didn’t want to stay and tried to leave. There was an argument between the two women which ended up with the elder of the two attacking the 28 year old who wanted to leave. Police say their information suggests that’s when Hanson intervened to prevent the younger woman from leaving. The woman did manage to free herself and sought help from a hotel employee.

The older woman told police that’s when she was sexually assaulted and the two fighters wouldn’t let her leave the hotel room. This woman is also facing a charge of assault causing bodily harm for attacking the younger woman.

"Aggravated sexual assault and forcible confinement. " Total skin hounds.
far fetched in what way? I'm sure they are firm pillars of society

Citizen quote " Mr Hansen is well known to us"

LOL hanson is know to everyone in town this is PG not africa the population isnt the biggest if you didnt know
Intial reports, and further details coming out, would suggest that the '2 sides to every story' rule probably applies here. I know James - I'll wait to hear the whole story and defend his right to assumed innocence and not immediately assumed guilty.

...and....she and her female 'friend' fought as well. It would seem, in all fairness, that the fighting and/or injuries shouldn't be hastily or solely attributed to the MMA athletes. We simply do not know all of the details and it is, as even the police in Halifax have indicated, a very unusual course of events. The injuries quoted are from her family and not a Dr. The family did mention she was heavily medicated as well - which leads to 'in and out' periods, not necessarily related to injuries. I wish this young lady no ill will whatsoever and pray for her a full and speedy recovery. I also wish her the best of luck as she too goes to trial, charged with assaulting her friend, and hope her younger friend was not too injured in their fight with each other.
