Site Visit For Canada Games Committee Planned

Prince George, B.C.- The Canada Games Technical Review Committee will becoming to Prince George November 9th.
The Committee will have a fast and full visit as 22 venues within the City are to be toured in just 8 hours.
"We are pleased to take this next step in the bid process and excited to showcase our first-class facilities", said Mayor Dan Rogers. "This is an exciting time for our community. Hosting these games would provide tremendous opportunity for lasting legacies through sport development and facility improvements, as well as create a significant economic impact for Prince George."
In December 2009 the Canada Games Council Board of Directors and the Bid Evaluation Committee will confirm the short-list of Bid Cities moving forward to Phase II of the 2015 bid process.
Short-listed Bid Communities will then submit their final Bid Proposal by May 28th of next year.
Site visits are also planned for Kamloops on the 10th, and Kelowna on the 11th.
