Man Rescued Off Fang Mountain

Prince George a 45 year old man is in Prince George Regional Hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries after he was rescued by a joint rescue team, which included a helicopter out of Comox, and aircraft out of Victoria and members of the Prince George Search and Rescue.
He was picked up off the side of Fang Mountain, in the George Evanoff Park of the McGregor Mountains east of Prince George.
The rescue came yesterday afternoon after an operator in Texas picked up an emergency 9-1-1- signal and relayed it onto Canada.
