Boo on VANOC.

Are the tax payers paying the bonus or is VANOC taking it out of their money pool? If it is the tax payers footing the bill then I believe WE the tax payers should have a say on WHO and HOW MUCH is given out as BONUSES. This is absolutely the worst kind of kick in the head for the HARD WORKING middle class once again. I am absolutely sick to death with the greed and people getting rediculous amounts of money on the tax payers dime.

A bonus? For going to the job you volunteered for?
For your job?

something in addition to what is expected or strictly due!

Should have made them all sign a contract stating that they had to stay until the job was done and not leave before. Instead of handing over "bonuses" to make them stay!

I wonder if we will get to see a list of how much each one of them gets?

What an Olympian scam !

Can't help but notice how fast this little gem was dropped from the mainstream media?
Which is exactly what happens with anything negative about the Olympics!
Such things as:
-Overall costs of the Olympics(unknown?),including a horrendus security bill that is probably way more than they are saying.
-The closing of downtown Vancouver starting in November,and what it will do to the merchants financially.
-B.C. Rail/Basi/Virk/Kinsella/missing emails/Premiers office/raid on legislature.
-Convention Center cost overruns.
-HST
-Cuts to social programs....on and on and on...so what is the mainstream media really doing, and who are really they working for?
