Prince George Regional Hospital CEO Micheal MacMillan says construction projects at PGRH are on time and on target.

In an update to te Regional Hospital District of Fraser Fort George, MacMillan advised that demolition has started on part of the 5th floor  to make way for the development of space for the medical program.  The project is out to tender and its hoped third year medical students will be able to occupy the new space by September of 2006.

MacMilland also advised the pediatrics changes are underway with  completion expected in June or July of the new year, while the new maternity area should be complete late 2006 early 2007.

It's great to see the optimism and vision by expanding the maternity areas and the pediatrics ward. One can only believe that we must be anticipating multiple births in our community by these initiatives. I am encouraged. Chester
