someones smoking a lot of crack tonight
They sound pretty fat too. I'll keep an eye open downtown here.
The only way to stop this BS is to put people away for a few years, everytime they are convicted of a criminal offence.

We pay millions of dollars for Police, Judges, Lawyers, etc., it is time we started to get some bang for our buck.

Innocent citizens should not be harrassed, beaten, or robbed by low life crooks. Its time to show them who's in charge.

We have to get the police, and Governments focus away from harrassing Citizens for infractions that make money for them, such as seat belt fines, and other minor infractions and concentrate on criminals.

It seems that the local Citizens are a cash cow for the Governments, Police, and Criminals.

What the hell is wrong with this Country??
Unreal and people say its such a wonderful city..What a real disgusting place we have going on here.
.
Why in the hell don't these scum bags get arrested every day for Loitering?

Why can't they be rounded up for this and panhandling ect?

Can they be arrested? if so, get at it and clean this city up it's embarrassing!!

And yes i know the bleeding hearts on here will respond by saying "move if you don't like it here"!
Yes i agree...clean up these crackshacks so i can sell our place and do just that!
Perhaps mpre tp the point: why dont violent criminals like these get mandatory jail time when they are caught? Why dont they get considerable jail time when they are repeat offenders? Why do we have to care what the circumstances were when they beat a woman and stole her money? Doing something like that deserves harsh penalties. I for one will pay the taxes to house these buggers (without cable by the way) in a new prison or two.
No cable!!! That's inhumane! You'd be infringing on their rights.

I too would rather pay my ever increasing taxes to help keep 'people' like that locked away for longer periods of time. Perhaps taking away the colour televisions would also be an idea.
Just to be completely inflammatory, I think that if you are charged and convicted of an offense, your victim should be entitled to half your possesions. Kind of like Divorce without the honeymoon.
If was the victim I don't think I would want any of the loser criminal's possessions, what would I do with a crack pipe and some old clothes anyway?
Seriously, crime of all types is not punished very severely in our country and I am one of the many who believe that the cushy jail ride should come to a screeching halt. The scum have more rights than us 'free' taxpaying citizens once they are in the care of the government. It is very unfair to those of us who choose to walk the straight and narrow.
metalman.
Getajob: "Why in the hell don't these scum bags get arrested every day for Loitering?

Good question, but:

"Laws criminalizing the homeless.

Use of the law that criminalizes the homeless generally takes on one of four forms:

Restricting the public areas in which sitting or sleeping are allowed.

Removing the homeless from particular areas.

Prohibiting begging.

Enforcing laws on the homeless and not on those who are not homeless."

The above is from the net. It appears that loitering per se is no longer a criminal offense. Society has to wait to arrest somebody until AFTER a criminal act has been committed.

Your socialist pal Trendy got rid of the Vagrancy Act. His logic was at the time, you shouldn't be punished for being poor. Good idea at the time, eh?
